Marcos was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1960 and grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. He attended Walt Whitman High School and the University of Maryland and received an MBA from George Washington University.
He enjoyed a long career in finance and consulting, with early stints in Honduras and New Jersey, ultimately making a home in Washington, DC. Marcos spent many years working at Sallie Mae and then Navient. After retirement, he remained active in the business world through a variety of ventures.

Marcos generated far-reaching networks, facilitating meaningful connections between people and organizations. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
Marcos is survived by his father José (Laura); his sisters Sandra and Nuria (Glenn); his niece and nephews Max, Henry, Maia, and Zach; his beloved family in Argentina; and many close friends. His sisters would like to thank all his friends who supported Marc on his journey.
